What does my site need for a restroom trailer?
A restroom trailer needs 4 things: a normal 110-volt, 20-amp outlet within 100 feet, a garden hose spigot within 100 feet, ground level within about 2 inches, and a straight path about 10 feet wide for the truck. Dry grass is fine. Wet clay lawns are not.
- Find the outletOne standard 20-amp outlet on its own circuit, within 100 feet. No outlet? We bring a quiet generator for a fee.
- Find the spigotA garden hose connection within 100 feet. No spigot? The trailer runs on its onboard fresh tank.
- Check the groundLevel within about 2 inches over the trailer's length. We block small dips.
- Walk the truck pathAbout 10 feet wide and straight, with no low branches, soft septic fields or tight turns.
- Send photosText us the spot, the outlet and the path. We confirm before you pay.

How many stalls does my restroom trailer need?
A 2-stall trailer covers about 75 to 100 guests for a 5-hour event, and a 4-stall trailer covers about 175 to 250. Add a stall size step when a bar is open all night. For 250 guests or more, choose a 6-stall trailer or add standard units nearby.
| Guests (5-hour event) | Trailer size | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Up to about 100 | 2-stall | One men's, one women's side |
| 100–175 | 3-stall | Extra women's stall shortens the line |
| 175–250 | 4-stall | Good fit for most large weddings |
| 250+ | 6-stall, or a 4-stall plus standard units | Ask about an ADA trailer |
For exact counts with alcohol and food, use the porta potty sizing calculator. For guests who use a wheelchair, the 2010 ADA Standards §213.2 call for accessible facilities; add a wheelchair-accessible unit or ask for an ADA trailer quote.
When is a restroom trailer the wrong choice?
A restroom trailer is the wrong choice when the site has no level, dry spot within reach of a 10-foot truck path, when the event is under about 40 guests, or when it is a job site. In those cases, VIP cabins or standard units cost less and fit where a trailer cannot.
| Situation | Why the trailer fails | Better choice |
|---|---|---|
| Backyard reached only through a gate | Trailer cannot get in | VIP cabins on the driveway |
| Small party under 40 guests | $895 for more than you need | One VIP cabin or a deluxe unit |
| Raw land, no power and no water | Needs generator and tank fees | VIP cabins, no hookups |
| Soft field after spring rain | Truck sinks | Move to gravel or pavement |
| Construction crew | Not built for work boots and mud | Standard units with weekly service |

How far ahead should I book a wedding restroom trailer?
Book a wedding restroom trailer 8 to 12 months ahead for spring and fall Saturdays. Trailers are the first thing to sell out, because each one goes to one event per weekend. Smaller events can often book 2 to 4 weeks ahead. A card deposit holds the date and locks in the price.

How much does a restroom trailer rental cost?
A restroom trailer rental starts at $895 for a 2-stall trailer for a weekend event, $1,195 for 3 stalls and $1,495 for 4 stalls. Six-stall and ADA trailers are quoted by the job. Delivery is one fee per order, $45 to $95 by zone, and Texas sales tax of 8.25% is added.
| Trailer | Weekend event | Longer rentals |
|---|---|---|
| 2-stall | $895 | Quote |
| 3-stall | $1,195 | Quote |
| 4-stall | $1,495 | Quote |

Restroom trailer questions
Straight answers from the dispatch desk. Not covered here? Call (469) 326-5635.
Can a restroom trailer run off a regular outlet?
Yes. One standard 110-volt, 20-amp outlet within 100 feet runs it. Avoid sharing that circuit with a DJ or caterer's equipment.
What if there is no outlet or water at the venue?
We bring a quiet generator for a fee, and the trailer can run on its onboard fresh-water tank. Tell us when you book so we price it in.
Can you put a restroom trailer on grass?
Yes, when the grass is dry and level within about 2 inches. After heavy rain on clay soil, we may move it to the driveway or gravel.
Does the restroom trailer have air conditioning?
Yes. The trailers have climate control, which matters for Texas summer weddings. It runs off the same outlet or generator.
How much room does the truck need to drop a trailer?
A straight path about 10 feet wide, with no low branches. A 2-stall trailer is about 12 to 14 feet long.
Who cleans the restroom trailer during the wedding?
It arrives cleaned and stocked with paper, soap and towels. For multi-day events, we schedule a service visit between days.
How early should I book a restroom trailer for a wedding?
For spring and fall Saturdays, book 8 to 12 months ahead. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before delivery.
