These are the questions renters ask us most often before they book, grouped by topic and answered in plain words: booking, delivery, placement, units, cleaning, money and emergencies. Each answer is how Justin Rental Works actually runs rentals from 207 W Erwin Ave in McKinney.

Booking and calling

What do you need from me to give a price?

Four things: the ZIP or address, the dates, the unit type and the head count. With those, dispatch reads you an all-in price on the call.

Why do you ask for the address before quoting?

The delivery fee depends on the zone your address sits in, and the address tells us if the truck can reach the spot. It takes 10 seconds.

Can you text me the quote instead?

Yes. Ask on the call or use the form, and we text an itemized quote you can forward to a spouse, boss or committee.

How far ahead should I book a porta potty for a party?

One to two weeks is enough for most parties. Holiday weekends and graduation season fill faster, so book 2–3 weeks ahead then.

Can you hold a unit while I check with my family?

We can hold a unit until the end of the business day. A card on the order holds it for good, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before delivery.

Do you take orders on Sunday?

Texts and voicemails left on Sunday are answered from 7 AM Monday. The form works any time.

Delivery and pickup

What time will the truck show up?

Deliveries run 7 AM–7 PM. You get a window on the call and a text about 30 minutes before arrival.

Can you deliver early in the morning before my crew starts?

Yes. First-route drops start at 7 AM. Ask for the first slot when you book.

Will you call before you come?

The driver texts about 30 minutes before arrival. Ask for a call instead if you prefer.

Why do you deliver Friday for a Saturday event?

It frees Saturday for service and late orders, and you get the unit a day early at no extra charge. Pickup is Monday.

Can you pick up the same evening the party ends?

Same-evening pickup is not on our routes. Saturday pickup can be arranged for an added fee; Monday pickup is included.

How do I end my rental?

Call or text (469) 326-5635. Billing stops that day, and we pick up within one business day.

Do I have to be there at pickup?

No. Leave the gate open or text the code. Make sure nothing is stored inside the unit.

Placement and site

How close does the truck need to get?

The service hose reaches about 50 feet. Keep the unit within 50 feet of a spot where a truck can park.

Can the unit go on concrete or asphalt?

Yes. Hard, level surfaces are the best spots. The unit sits flat and does not mark the surface.

Will my HOA let me keep a porta potty out front?

Many master-planned HOAs limit how long a unit can be seen from the street. Ask your HOA; we can place it in a side yard or behind a gate.

Can I put the porta potty in the street?

Not without approval. Streets and alleys are public right-of-way; ask the city before you book a curbside spot.

What if the ground is muddy on delivery day?

We place the unit on the driveway, curb edge or gravel instead. North Texas clay turns slick after rain and trucks cannot cross it.

Can I move the unit myself after delivery?

Please don't. A unit with waste in the tank can tip. Call and we move it on the next route.

Units and supplies

What's the difference between a porta john and a porta potty?

Nothing. Porta john, porta potty, portable toilet and portable restroom all mean the same single unit.

Do your units have a sink?

Standard units have hand sanitizer. Sink units, deluxe flushing units and VIP cabins have a sink. Hand wash stations add 2 sinks.

Is there toilet paper and sanitizer in every unit?

Yes, at least 2 rolls and a sanitizer dispenser at delivery and after every service.

Do the units lock?

Each door has an occupied/vacant latch inside. A padlock hasp is available for job sites; bring your own padlock.

Do you have a unit for a man and a woman to use separately?

Order two standard units, or a 2-stall restroom trailer with separate men's and women's doors.

Are your units unisex?

Yes. Standard units have both a toilet seat and a urinal and are used by everyone.

Cleaning and service

How often will you clean my porta potty?

Once a week on 28-day rentals. Events get a clean, stocked unit at delivery and a pump-out at pickup.

What happens at a service visit?

We pump the tank, scrub the seat and urinal, wipe surfaces, add deodorizer and restock paper and sanitizer.

Can I ask for less service if hardly anyone uses it?

Yes, for very light use we can visit every two weeks. The price stays the same because weekly service is built in.

What if the unit is full before the service day?

Call us. An extra service visit is $55 and goes on the next available route.

Why does a porta potty smell?

Heat, a full tank and a closed vent cause most odor. Shade, the right count and service on time fix it.

Money and policies

Do I pay before or after the event?

Event orders are paid by card at booking. The card locks your price and your slot.

Do you take cash?

We do not take cash on delivery. Pay by debit or credit card, or apply for invoice billing as a business.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before delivery. Inside 24 hours, the delivery fee is kept.

Who pays if the unit is damaged?

Normal wear is on us. Damage from vandalism, fire, graffiti or a tip-over caused by misuse is billed at repair cost.

Is the quote the final price?

Yes. The quote covers the unit, delivery, pickup and service; only Texas sales tax is added.

Do you donate units for charity events?

We quote charity and school events at our normal rates and can invoice a nonprofit. We do not run sponsorship deals.

Special situations

My septic system failed. Can you help today?

Yes. Call by 12 PM for a same-day drop in our near ring. Septic repairs usually need a unit for 1–3 weeks, billed as one 28-day cycle.

Our water is shut off. Do I need a porta potty?

If the outage lasts more than a day, yes. A standard unit with weekly service keeps a family of 4–6 going.

Will homeowners insurance pay for a porta potty?

Some policies cover it during a covered repair. We give you an itemized receipt to send your adjuster.

Our venue's restroom broke the morning of the event. What now?

Call right away. Same-day slots go first-come; a standard unit and a hand wash station cover most small events.

Can you deliver to a property with no address yet?

Yes. New lots often have no number. Send a map pin or the lot and block number with the builder's name.
