What does OSHA require for farm workers?
OSHA rule 29 CFR 1928.110 requires 1 toilet and 1 handwashing facility for every 20 field workers, within a ¼-mile walk. It applies when 11 or more employees do hand labor in the field on a given day. On big farms, a towable unit keeps the toilet within that ¼ mile as crews move.

How many units does a pumpkin patch or tree lot need?
Pumpkin patch and tree lot counts use visitors × average stay in hours ÷ 250, rounded up. A pumpkin patch with 1,000 Saturday visitors staying about 1.5 hours needs 6 units for that day. Weekday crowds are smaller, so many farms keep 2 units all season and add 4 more for October weekends at the event price.

What happens to sink units during a North Texas freeze?
North Texas gets a few hard freezes most winters, usually between December and February. When temperatures are forecast below 32°F, we drain sink units and hand wash stations so lines and pumps do not crack. We leave hand sanitizer in their place. The toilet itself keeps working.
Can a seasonal unit move around the farm?
Yes, with a towable unit. A towable unit is a standard porta potty mounted on a small trailer, so it can follow a harvest crew from field to field. That helps you meet the ¼-mile rule from 1928.110. Standard units should not be moved by hand; they weigh about 210 pounds.

Do we need a toilet in every field?

What do you do with hand wash stations in a freeze?
We drain them before a forecast freeze and leave hand sanitizer. We refill them once temperatures stay above freezing.
Can we start in September and stop after Halloween?
Yes. Pick your start date, and call or text when the season ends. Billing stops that day and pickup is within 1 business day.
Do you set up for a single tournament weekend?
Yes. A tournament weekend is an event rental: $165 per standard unit for up to 3 days, plus delivery and tax.
Will your truck get stuck in our field?
Not if the units sit on gravel or a dirt lane within about 50 feet. After rain, Blackland clay fields are too soft for a loaded truck.
